Himalayan Future Forum (HFF) is an initiative to encourage multi-faceted dialogues on the topics of climate, community, and connectivity in the Himalayan region by bringing together leaders, experts, institutions, and practitioners from different countries and sectors. Currently incubated as a center as part of the Nepal Economic Forum, it will emerge as a separate not-for-profit entity over a period of time.
The second edition of the forum, HFF 2026, is scheduled for February 6 and 7, 2026. This edition will continue to build on our core themes of 'Climate, Community and Connectivity,' guided by our ethos of bringing together experts, experiences, and enthusiasm. Alongside the formal panel discussions, this time, we are also introducing the Himalayan Haat to highlight crafts, food, culture, and lived experiences from across the Himalayan region. Stay tuned for more information!

Himalayan Haat is a curated marketplace under the Himalayan Future Forum 2026 that brings together Himalayan creativity, enterprise, and ideas. Rooted in the themes of climate, community, and connectivity, the Haat showcases local artists, makers, and initiatives whose work reflects the region’s cultural resilience and evolving economies. More than a marketplace, Himalayan Haat creates a shared commons where culture meets conversation, highlighting how local livelihoods, creative expression, and sustainable futures are deeply interconnected across the Himalayas.
